  • - The Northern Ireland Environment and Heritage Service explains what peatland is and describes its plants, wildlife, archaeology, history, and the uses of peat. Includes issues, conservation and places to visit.
  • - Burns Bog is the largest raised peat bog on the west coast of the Americas and is in danger of being developed.
